~ PROGRAM IS ANNOUNCED

Users, vendors, governments, and researchers from Europe and around the
world will come together for this one-day event to examine and discuss
advances in open standards. Hosted by OASIS, the event will feature
presentations that profoundly affect government, healthcare, and commerce,
delivering insight and updates on work in Web services, tax, business
process, and localisation.

The OASIS Adoption Forum will open with a keynote address from Ovum, the
global analyst and consulting company.  This keynote will offer unique
insights into the often-but-not always complimentary roles played by open
standards and open source efforts in today's marketplace. The event will
close with a panel of representatives from Europe's most influential
standards bodies. Leaders from BT, CEN/ISSS, and ITU will join OASIS CEO,
Patrick Gannon, to discuss how their organizations are responding to user
outcry for more cooperation in the standards development arena.

~ ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Register for the Adoption Forum before 5 September 2005 to take advantage of
the early-bird discounted fee of 250 USD for OASIS Members and 350 USD for
non-members. After the early-bird deadline, the cost increases by 50 USD.
Adoption Forum registration includes access to all sessions, luncheon,
coffee breaks, and associated materials.

~ OASIS TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEETINGS

OASIS Technical Committees are invited to hold face-to-face meetings in
conjunction with the OASIS Adoption Forum. OASIS will provide rooms at the
Russell Hotel on 18, 19, and 20 October for TC meetings. In order to assure
availability, TC chairs are asked to complete the online Meeting Space
Reservation Form no later than 31 August.

Space is limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. OASIS TC
