Subject: Public Review of UBL v2.0

To: OASIS members, public announce lists

The OASIS Universal Business Language (UBL) TC has approved the following specification document as a Committee Draft and
approved the package for a 60-day public review:

    Universal Business Language v2.0

The public review starts today, 20 January 2006, and ends 21 March 2006. This is an open invitation to comment.

Public review from potential users, developers and stakeholders is an important part of the OASIS process to assure
interoperability and quality. Comments are solicited from all interested parties. Please feel free to distribute this announcement
within your organization and to other appropriate mail lists.

More non-normative information about the specification and the technical committee may be found at the public home page of the
TC at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ubl. Comments may be submitted to the TC by any person, by a web-form that can be reached
either on that page, via the button marked "Send A Comment" at the top of that page, or directly at
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/comments/form.php?wg_abbrev=ubl

Submitted comments (for this work as well as other works of that TC) are publicly archived and can be viewed at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl-comment/. All comments submitted to OASIS are subject to the OASIS Feedback License, to
assure that the comment may be freely re-used by the TC; the license terms can be found on the comment web-form.

The specification document and related files are available here:
html: http://docs.oasis-open.org/ubl/prd-UBL-2.0/index.html
zip archive: http://docs.oasis-open.org/ubl/prd-UBL-2.0.zip
A pdf file is included in the zip archive, however, since this committee draft is created in XHTML, the TC asks that you refer to
the html version for review purposes.

OASIS and the UBL Technical Committee welcome your comments.
