Dear Members of OASIS,
The OASIS Board of Directors has several standing committees that work to improve how OASIS works for all of you. One of these is the Process Committee. Over the years, the process committee has successfully brought numerous proposed improvements to the Board for approval. For example, there was the ability to approve Committee Specifications with minor changes without requiring another public review and the switch to a Call for Consent for approving OASIS Standards. Most of these improvements started as input from members like you.Â
The Process Committee for 2023 is now in session. We would like to get your feedback on how the consortium is working for you and we want your ideas for improvements. What are your pain points in the process? What would make your life easier here at OASIS?Â
Our goal is to make OASIS the best possible home for your project, whether you are working in a Technical Committee or in an Open Project, whether you are developing open standards or open source.Â
