OASIS Creates Math Optimization Discussion List 

A public list has been created to discuss the possible formation of an OASIS
Math Optimization TC. The goal of this work will be to develop an XML-based
standard for representing instances of mathematical optimization problems.
OASIS Members and non-members may subscribe to the discussion list by

OASIS DSS TC Requests Public Feedback for Approved CDs

The OASIS Digital Signature Services TC is seeking input regarding potential
applications and/or implementations for the Core Protocols, Elements and
Bindings and the XML Timestamping DSS Profile OASIS Committee Draft
specifications.

OASIS IHC TC Forms at OASIS

A Call for Participation has been issued for the OASIS International Health
Continuum (IHC) TC as a "forum for companies on the Healthcare continuum
internationally to voice their needs and requirements with respect to XML
and Web Services." Interested participants should join by 18 Aug in order to
contribute to the first meeting on 2 Sept.

OASIS WSS TC Approves and Submits Two New CDs for Public Review

The OASIS Web Services Security (WSS) TC has approved two Committee Drafts
and voted to submit Web Services Security Rights Expression Language (REL)
Token Profile and Web Services Security: SAML Token Profile for public

Mary McRae Joins OASIS Staff

Mary McRae will be working with Karl Best and Jamie Clark in the role of
OASIS TC administrator. She will lend her experience to assist TCs as they
work towards pre-defined goals and deliverables. Mary is a previous OASIS
Board member and TC chair.

OASIS Open Standards Days 2004, to be held 20-22 Oct in Sydney, Australia,
is the second annual Sydney e-business event for management and technical
professionals from industry and government. Requested topic areas are posted
