Proposers of the OCPP TC,
As you know, the draft charter does not yet set the date for the 1st meeting. That will all have to be set in the charter when the call for participation goes out.
According to the TC Process, the charter must include "The date, time, and location of the first meeting, whether it will be held in person or by telephone, and who will sponsor this first meeting."
In terms of the date, the charter states that the first meeting will be face-to-face. That being the case, the earliest the first meeting can happen is 45 days after the call is sent.
Given the submission date of 27 June, the timeline for the coming events looks something like this:
- Call for comment ends: 12 July
- Convener call to address comments: 14 July
- Final copy of charter to OASIS: no later than 24 July
- Call for participation sent: no later than 26 July
- First meeting: no earlier than 12 September
I will work with you over the next weeks to finalize the first meeting information so that it can be ready when we convene to review the comments.
