Subject: Recurrence in Google Calendar
Outlook clearly has richer support of the RECUR type. But Google is not a subset of Outlook. They differ in how they use set position. Outlook uses the SETPOS (field, attribute,?), while Google prefixes the day of the week with a set position (ie BYDAY=1SU). I couldn't find a way to schedule floating times. Every recurrence rule can use UNTIL, but not COUNT. FREQ is limited to DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY and YEARLY. DAILY can only be: INTERVAL=n WEEKLY options: BYDAY=days Or INTERVAL=n;BYDAY=days MONTHLY options: INTERVAL=n;BYMONTHDAY=<one positive value> Or INTERVAL=n;BYDAY=<setpos><day of week> YEARLY options: In VEVENT - no other rules, just DTSTART and DTEND In VTIMEZONE - BYMONTH=month;BYDAY=<setpos><day of week> Aaron
