Maybe I was not completely clear, as I understood the idea behind this CR for messages, this was to send a "special" message to the Charge Point, not something that should always be shown before/during/after any transaction.

Just some examples I have just come up with:

- "Merry Christmas"

- "Charge Point will not be available tomorrow due to planned maintenance"

- "Please stop charging and remove your EV before 10:00 because of roadworks tomorrow"

The requirement from NIST is very valid, but should, in my opinion not be solved the way this CR is intended.

This is a requirement from NIST in the US. Following on the F2F meeting, SCE shared with all of us the NIST requirement and there is a fair few use cases in there.

Also this is where the tie with currency comes in. From a US perspective at least, we need to display prices before the charge starts and a final tally of the cost of charge at the end of the transaction.

Are there companies in this TC with use cases for this? Requirements?
