Minutes
=======

Minutes of the meetings on 8th and 15th August were approved.


ODF / UOF Convergence
=====================

Rob reported that they were currently drafting a charter for a
sub-committee of the main ODF TC.  Probably voted on at September 11th
meeting then start in October.

Rob also updated the meeting on the ongoing process in OASIS to follow up
on the formal vote approving ODF, emphasising that this was not a technical
process now.

ODF Focus Area on XML.org
=========================

Erwin asked for feedback on the updates he has done.  He is limited by the
lack of support for tables, Carol will upload two tables to get round this.

David Eisenberg has posted an article on XForms and Erwin has reviewed it.

Don reported that he was close to getting approval for the submission of
papers on ODF Innovation and ODF Accessibility.

Don agreed to consolidate the list of blogs and circulate it to the team.

eKademy Update
===============

Dhananjay updated the team on the progress of this event, there would be
probably about 30 people interested in ODF.  He would distribute the link
to the Wiki being used to develop the agenda. Members agreed to publicise
the event through their contacts / newsletters.

ODF News
========

Noted the discussions between the ITD group in Massachusetts and the
various disability groups in the State. There is a statement due soon.

Don reported on the work on interoperability between the three OASIS
document centric standards: ODF, Dita and DocBook. A meeting had recently
been convened and progress was expected shortly.

The meeting was adjourned at this stage.
