OpenDocument.xml.org spam

We've been getting a bit of spam on the web site's home page, around one 
per day, mainly selling jewelry, but also some porn.  It comes in the 
middle of the night and I delete it when I see it.  But this is too late 
for the RSS feeds, which already included it and spread it around.

Is there anything we can do about this?  For example, is there any 
moderation queue we can put posts in from new users, or at least for posts 
headed for the home page?
