Subject: ODF 1.2 comment: metadata: OWL
The OWL material does not gel. I am not an expert in OWL, but I note that the OWL schema references resources that do not exist. For example, the following fragments are referenced but do not apparently exist: http://docs.oasis-open.org/ns/office/1.2/meta/pkg#File http://docs.oasis-open.org/ns/office/1.2/meta/odf#Element http://docs.oasis-open.org/ns/office/1.2/meta/pkg#Element These appear as subclasses in the owl file. From the OWL specification, it seems that these are supposed to reference some class definition*, following RDFS. I was not aware that an HTML file with no corresponding fragments ids satisfies RDFS. (I suspect that part of the OWL schemas has gone missing: these would have been in the above files pkg and odf at some stage.) SUGGESTION: Correct the OWL schemas. Validate them in some appropriate tool with no loose ends. Cheers Rick Jelliffe * http://www.w3.org/TR/owl-ref/#subClassOf-def
