Hello Owen.
I want to confirm receipt of your two
issue reports and thank you for them.
The first one, the editorial error ("specifies
specify") is a duplicate issue that we've been tracking in JIRA here:
https://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2697
The 2nd issue, was discussed on our
call yesterday. You can track it here:
https://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3852
Regards,
Rob Weir, Co-Chair OASIS Open Document
Format Technical Committee

> Subject: [office-comment] chart:include-hidden-cells
attribute
>
> I have raised this LibreOffice bug:
>
> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72459
> ... to try and get some clarity on how the chart:include-hidden-
> cells attribute is supposed to be interpreted, depending on whether
> the reference is to a local or external dataset (spreadsheet). ODF
> v1.2, Part 1, 20.25 states:
>
> > The chart:include-hidden-cells attribute specifies whether data
> points in hidden cells are
> > plotted in a chart. The default is to plot data points in hidden
cells.
> > This attribute can be used within styles that are applied to
a
> <chart:plot-area> element.
> > The defined values for the chart:include-hidden-cells attribute
are:
> > ● false: data points in hidden cells are not plotted in a chart.
> > ● true: data points in hidden cells are plotted in a chart.
> Is there some qualifying text that I have missed
restricting this to
> only locally hidden cells (references), or is the expectation that
> this behaviour will be consistent regardless of the nature of the
> reference? Currently LibreOffice ignores this attribute for all
> external references to hidden cells.
> Thanks, Owen.
