Subject: Reminder - test case results normally need >2 digits
Just a reminder - for most test case results, you need more than 2 digits after the decimal point, and you need to include the "+/-" symbol and epsilon. Most test cases do not result in exact results. Where you CAN make them exact, it's probably a good idea to include at least one of them. E.G., for anything related to the Pythagorean theorm, 3,4,5 are exact. But in general, they won't be exact. So please include LOTS of digits (as long as they're exact). Unless you have a particular reason to do otherwise, it's probably wise to include at least 9 digits (as long as they're right!), and then the +/- epsilon. Note that OpenOffice.org defaults to showing only 2 digits after the decimal point. So in OOo you just need to change the cell format. Thanks! --- David A. Wheeler
