If possible, we should be very specific. I think we ought to duplicate whatever the typical semantics are for applications that support sheet-local names. I know Gnumeric and Excel have them - can someone double-check their semantics? I _think_ these are Excel's semantics. Excel typically tries to do "something else" instead of reporting an error, even when it's very arguable that it SHOULD report an error. --- David A. Wheeler
