Please help: statistical functions need descriptions / formulas

Hi,

We need some help from people with expertise in statistical fields who
could write a description and/or formula work for remaining functions
(some completely undefined, some commented as "needs work") of section
6.17. Namely these are:

CHITEST, CRITBINOM (not CRITBINOMIAL), FORECAST, FREQUENCY, FTEST,
GAUSS, GROWTH, HYPGEOMDIST, INTERCEPT, PERCENTRANK, PERMUTATIONA (seems
to be OOo only and is PERMUT with repitition allowed), PHI, PROB,
QUARTILE, RANK, RSQ, TINV, TREND

As we seem to have some experts on board I hope they'll yell "here, me!" ;-)
