Different moods of emptiness

Hi,

While implementing empty cell returns for functions like [HV]LOOKUP and
the inheritance of empty cells, see

I again came across some other issue that demonstrates the mess how
Excel differs in itself when treating empty string results, and how Calc
differs from Excel in this regard, for details see

Note that the test case document attached there is not necessarily
complete and may miss some details.

I still have no clue how to consolidate that, but I think we'll sooner
or later have to come up with a conclusion and clearly define behavior.

I also think we should define the behavior for inherited emptiness
described in the feature mail linked above.

All in all this cries for a section about emptiness.. and maybe
additional notes for each function affected.

Ideas, anyone?
