Yes, I am presuming a "smart" copy-n-paste function. But as you say, we

Sure. I am going to work on examples for how processing would differ 
given inline or meta* storage of metadata. I don't know that I will have 
time to generate files to show the difference in parsing time but maybe 
it will be a good weekend.

Let's try to keep the mailing list full of interesting post so we can 
have a full house next week as well!
