DTD/schema.

Relax-NG schemes and about using compact or XML Relax-NG syntax.

- Daniel Vogelheim: Prepare specification document for editing
- in progress
- Michael Brauer: Contact Karl Best about OASIS support in
collaborated work on documents.
- done, see below
Technical details about editing the specification
-------------------------------------------------
There is no support by OASIS for collaborated work on specification
documents. The TC agreed that further discussions about the technical
details of editing the document take place among the TC's editors (Gary
Edwards, Daniel Vogelheim and Michael Brauer) only. They will prepare a
proposal.
Converted Relax-NG schemes/Relax-NG-syntax
------------------------------------------
The TC unanimously agreed to use the automatically converted Relax-NG
schemes (available at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200301/msg00022.html)
as starting point for schema creation.
The TC also agreed to use the XML syntax rather than the compact syntax
for its work.
Work packages/Working plan
--------------------------
The TC unanimously accepted the working packages prepared by Daniel
Vogelheim. In this proposal, meta information is discussed earlier than
in the current working plan and style/formatting information is
discussed separately from the content. Michael Brauer will adjust the
TC's working plan accordingly.
Discussion of Work Package 1.1 Top Level Elements
-------------------------------------------------
- the TC identified no need for a discussion
Discussion of Work Package 1.2 First Level Elements
---------------------------------------------------
- The differentiation between the elements "styles", "automatic-styles"
and "master-styles" was discussed.
- There were some discussions about the name of the "automatic-styles"
element. Suggested names were "internal-styles", "temporary-styles" and
"unnamed-styles". A decision about renaming the element has been
postponed until the next meeting. Name suggestions should be made in the
TC's mailing list until next meeting.
- There were also some discussions whether multiple "body" elements
should be supported within one document. TC members are asked to send
use cases for multiple "body" elements to the TC's list for discussion
in the next meeting.
New Action Items
----------------
- Editors: Clarify technical details about editing the specification.
- All: Send name suggestions for "automatic-styles" element to TC's list.
- All: Send use cases for multiple "body" elements to TC's list.
- Michael Brauer: Adjust TC's Working Plan to work package proposal.
