Preview images in OpenOffice.org

Hi all,

one of my action items from the last con call is to collect some 
information regarding preview images in OpenOffice.org:

There is a specification for this at

A summary of this specification is that OpenOffice.org plans to save the 
preview image in a file called "Thumbnail.png" that is contained in a 
folder called Thumbnails. The images is saved as 24bit, non-interlaced 
PNG image with full alpha transparency. The required size for the image 
is 128x128 pixel.
