Acceptance of Minutes of the November, the 15th meeting

Working Draft
-------------
Working Draft 18 has been finished. Feedback to that draft has been
received and will be integrated into draft 19.


Discussion of writing style
---------------------------
The current draft contains many times the phrase "you can". The TC
discussed whether this writing style is appropriate for a standard. The
discussions will be continued next week.


Specification name
------------------
The TC discussed to change the specification name from "Open Office
Specification" to a name that is neutral as regards to the
OpenOffice.org project and application. Proposed new names are
"OpenDocument" and "OfficeDocument". The TC discussed both proposals.
Arguments raised for "OpenDocument" are that it emphasizes the openess
of the specification, that the specification does not only cover
documents created in offices, and that a change to that name would be a
moderate name change. An argument raised for "OfficeDocument" is that it
emphasizes the purpose of the specification.

There seems to be a consensus among the TC members to change the
specification name, and there seem to be only slight preferences for one
or the other name proposal. The discussion will be continued in the next
meeting to give the non attending TC member the possibility to
participate in the discussion.
