MINUTES OF THE OASIS OPEN OFFICE XML FORMAT TC MEETING DECEMBER, THE 6TH, 2004, 4PM GMT – 5:00PM GMT Attendees --------- Michael Brauer <michael.brauer@sun.com>, Sun Microsystems Gary Edwards <garyedwards@yahoo.com> Lars.Oppermann <lars.oppermann@sun.com>, Sun Microsystems Tom Magliery <tom.magliery@blastradius.com> (Blast Radius Inc.) David Faure <faure@kde.org> (Individual) Patrick <Durusau Patrick.Durusau@sbl-site.org> (SBL) Acceptance of Minutes of the November, the 29th meeting ------------------------------------------------------- - The attending TC members unanimously accepted the minutes. Action Items ------------ Lars: research relaxng list//ref issue - done Gary: make current spec. available to CDF group - done Posessive Month Names Proposal ------------------------------ The TC unanimously aggreed to include the proposal for posessive month names into the next specification draft. Possesive month names will implemented as a boolean attribute in the schema, since that is most consistent with the current design. Status of Specification Draft ----------------------------- An appendix noting the most important changes (namespaces, mimetypes etc. was added to the spec.) After the integration of the latest proposals, the TC will start to vote on a new Committee Draft via OASIS' web based voting mechanism. ISO --- Michael was contacted by J.D Mason of ISO SC34 about bringing OpenDocument forward as an ISO standard one it becomes an OASIS standard. Michael ha followed up on this and will keep SC34 updated. Misc ---- We expect Dec 20th call to be the last for 2004 Mime type submission should happen according to Committee Draft voting via OASIS.
