Yes!

Re: the Keynote question earlier, no, it doesn't use ODF, but I was 
responding to the notion that tables are not a standard feature of 
presentation applications generally.

Also, WRT to the distinction between traditional static tables vs. 
embedded dynamic spreadsheets and such, Apple has also done some 
interesting things to blur those lines. See, for example:
