Dear TC,

This is the latest version of the mime type registration information.
I have extended the list of applications and added a link to the list of 
applications at the opendocuementfellowship site.
I didn't add any Mac creator/type codes. Creator codes are application 
specific and type codes are no longer recommended by Apple - there only 
seems to be an un-official database for them at 
http://www.angelfire.com/mac/tcdb/

Please let me know if you have further comments.

Using a syntax close to the file(1) command, OpenDocument files have the following 'magic' :

0    string   PK\003\004
>30  string   mimetype
>>38 string    vnd.oasis.opendocument.text
(or any other mimetype being registered here)

I.e. in plain english: the ZIP magic header "PK" followed by the byte values 3 and 4,
and at offset 30, the string "mimetype" followed by the actual mimetype of the document.
