Hi Florian,

I had a look at the proposal. Is there a reason why you define the 
"DisableLayoutGridSqareMode" as a configuration setting? These settings 
are reserved for application specific settings, what the 
"DisableLayoutGridSqareMode" probably shall not be. In particular, since 
you reference it from a formatting property, what leads to the situation 
that a formatting property references an application setting.

Can you please describe what the "grid square mode" algorithm you are 
referring to is, what the "grid's base width" is, and what it means if 
"text is snapped to the grid".
