It's hard to say, even to Zoom factor.
In some cases, I set appropriate Zoom factor to make sure that some content
in one document can display in certain effect. I want others to have same
effect with me, not only those people who use the same application with
me.

Zoom factor is only one example. My
point here is that, some settings are very common among applications. Do
we need to specify these items, including names and values? 

I am sorry to send under Florain's text
grid thread, for his proposal reminds me on that. I will resend a new thread
if needed.
