Hi Michael,
I am forwarding the following comments
on the chart proposals. These comments are from He Qiang who is working
on Lotus Notes development. Although these proposals have been approved,
I would like to post them here for discussion and possible improvement.
Thanks.
//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Chart Sort By X Values:
in the schema definition, default value "false" should be
specified.
- Treatment of Empty Cells
: in the schema definition, default value "use-zero"
should be specified.
- Data Labels with Percentage and Value
: to make "chart:data-label-numberthe"
more extensible, we'd better adjust the value "value-and-percentage"
to "value percentage" to express both the "value" and
"percentage" will be displayed as data-label.
- Label Separator:
use "text-p" can't express "new line" as the separator,
we'd better use an ASCII or Unicode char/string to express the separator
- Chart Regression Curve Equation:
1) only "common-draw-position-attlist"
is contained in the attribute list, which means the size might be different
for vendor applications, and the size of the chart would be affected by
the rendering size. 2) leave the equation format undefined might cause
different display result
- Reverse Axis:
No default value defined
