Interesting.

This appears to be a session on the
Microsoft/CleverAge ODF Plugin for Office.  Vijay is Microsoft's main
technical liaison with the CleverAge folks on that project.  I wasn't
aware that Miguel plays a role in OOXML/ODF, but he appears to be the second
speaker.

It sounds like Craig is inviting us
to attend as audience members, in the sense that "all conference attendees
are invited to participate in the session".  Do you read anything
more in this?

Note that this is a Microsoft-sponsored
track at XML 2007 on Tuesday December 4th.  Microsoft's track is opposite
some rather more interesting presentations on the main conference tracks,
including an IBM one on collaborative editing with ODF.

track at the XML 2007
conference in Boston on 4 Dec. The track will feature a session, "Document
Interop: Ecma Office Open XML and OASIS ODF" with Miguel de Icaza
of Novell
Inc.
