Subject: Action Item #21:need to clarify whether date patterns given in text ofstandard are examples, or definitions of the allowed format.
Hi, XSD dateTime values do support time zone information, but the ODF specification does not mentioned them anywhere. The question therefore was whether time zone information may actually occur in ODF documents. I'm not aware of an ODF application that actually evaluates time zone information, but since there may be use cases for dateTime values that include time zone information, I suggest that we do not explicitly prohibit them.
