Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1531) Editor Note: Section17.334 meta:object-count
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1531?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11574#action_11574 ] Michael Brauer commented on OFFICE-1531: ---------------------------------------- For <draw:object> we already have the limitation to objects that have an ODF representation for those objects whose XML representation is inline in <draw:object> element. But you are right. We must not limit <draw:object-ole> to objects that have a binary representation, but must instead say The <draw:object-ole> element represents objects that do not have an OpenDocument representation. The xlink:href attribute references a sub stream of the package that contains the object data. Alternatively, the <draw:object-ole> element contains a <office:binary-data> element which contains the data for the object in BASE64 encoding. > Editor Note: Section 17.334 meta:object-count > --------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-1531 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1531 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 > Reporter: Robert Weir > Assignee: Patrick Durusau > Priority: Blocker > Fix For: ODF 1.2 > > > Transcribed from ODF_Revised_Editorial_Notes_27May2009.odt > Original author: Patrick Durusau > Section 17.334 meta:object-count > Ed. Note We have graphic "objects," drawing "objects," and 3D "objects," etc., so I am guessing that <draw:object> goes here, in parallel to draw:object-ole. Not immediately obvious or why <draw:object> gets a separate count. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
