Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1764) Editor Note: Section18.204 fo:min-height

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1764?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11927#action_11927 ]

Oliver-Rainer Wittmann commented on OFFICE-1764:
------------------------------------------------

svg:height specifies the fixed height of ...
I did not find the place where it is said that it specifies a minimum height of ...
Thus, no two attributes for the same setting.
Please resolve this issue - ed. note can be removed in my opinion.

> Section 18.204 fo:min-height
> Ed. Note Elsewhere we say that svg:height specifies a fixed or minimum height for a header or footer. Is there some reason to have two attributes for the same setting?
> Oliver says: "In ODF 1.2 draft 6 and ODF 1.1 we had no reference to XSL. What was
> the reason to include it? Was it intention not to have it or was it a
> defect?
> -- 1st paragraph should also state that it specifies the minimum height
> of a text box.
> -- It should also be stated that the attribute specifies the minimum
> height of a header or a footer - see sub chapter "16.3.1 Fixed and
> Minimum heights" in ODF 1.2 draft 6
> -- Ad editor's note: It is meant that svg:height specifies the fixed
> height for a header or footer, while fo:min-height specifies the minimum
> height for a header or a footer, in my honest opinion. "
