The correct reference to ODF 1.2 Part 1 cd02 is "18.324.3 <style:section-properties> style:protect"

I agree with the changes, although I wonder

1. In ODF 1.1, the default value for this style:protect attribute is "false".  Is there to be a default for ODF 1.2 ?

I also note that

2. The clarification (set to "true" by default for linked sections or indexes) is applicable to earlier versions of ODF.

3. It might also be more precise to say something along these lines:

"The style:protect attribute specifies whether the associated sections are protected against editing.  When style:protect="true", a processor of the document should not permit editing of the sections by default.  How the style:protect attribute can be controlled in a document producer and how it can be over-ridden and altered in a consumer/processor are implementation-defined.

"Producers should automatically supply style:protect="true" for linked sections and indexes, since any edits to such content will be lost if linked content and indexes are refreshed."
