Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1689) Editor Note:Section: number:truncate-on-overflow
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1689?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12930#action_12930 ] Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-1689: ----------------------------------------- Andreas, good point. But, what if there are two time components, say <number:hours> and <number:minutes> and the value of 1501 minutes is given. Do we mean for that value to carry over as it were to <number:hours> if it exceeds 59 minutes by a "true" value here or do we mean that the value would simply be truncated to 59? Granting that in case only <number:minutes> were present, the value range is extended. The question here being how to we describe the relationship between the two fields? > Editor Note: Section: number:truncate-on-overflow > -------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-1689 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1689 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 > Reporter: Robert Weir > Assignee: Patrick Durusau > Fix For: ODF 1.2 > > > Transcribed from ODF_Revised_Editorial_Notes_27May2009.odt > Original author: Patrick Durusau > Section: number:truncate-on-overflow > Ed. Note As far as I can determine, we never defined a default value range for <number:hours> or any other time/date element. The text reads as though it has been defined elsewhere. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
