Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Issue Comment Edited: (OFFICE-1934) Namespaceneeded for 18.637 table:expression

There is one possible ambiguity with this approach, namespace and no '=' equal sign.

Assume the namespace alias is 'of' and the attribute's value "of:A1".
It is ambiguous whether
1. 'of' would be the namespace alias and 'of:' the namespace prefix, the
   formula thus be "A1"
2. or the namespace prefix would be missing (defaulted to the "...:of:1.2"
namespace) and 'of' would be a named expression, e.g. a named cell, the
   formula thus be "of:A1"

A disambiguation could be to require the '=' equal sign.
In the case of #1 the attribute value then should be written as "of:=A1".
In the case of #2 the attribute value then should be written as "=of:A1".

However, it first needs to be clarified why the spec says that expressions do not support the '=' equal sign, it already did so in ODF 1.1

There is one possible ambiguity with this approach, namespace and no '=' equal sign. This would also be the case for the table:formula attribute, where we currently require the '=' equal sign, but the OpenFormula draft does not, if the '=' would not be required.

> The table:expression attribute contains formulas and as such needs to support namespaces.
