Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2326) Treat all typesequally, i.e., no pseudotypes

Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-2326:
-----------------------------------------

David,

I did not mean to remove the definition of the pseudotypes but rather to make them "types" in their own regard. Keep the definitions where they are but eliminate the notion of a pseudotype. Where it occurs it is, after all, a type. Yes? That is if a function requires DateParam, passing it a Basis should result in an error. Yes?

> Treat all types equally, i.e., no pseudotypes

> We currently have types and pseudotypes. The latter does not appear to serve any meaningful role.
