Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2326) Treat all typesequally, i.e., no pseudotypes

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2326?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17831#action_17831 ]

Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-2326:
------------------------------------------

Dennis, you are of course right that ISERR and ISERROR can fail on their own. For example ISERROR() and ISERR() returns an error. Please note that we have some general statements, ie. statements that describe default behaviour of functions, and so for most functions we need not specify when they return behaviour. For example: "If a constraint is not met, the function/operator should return an Error unless otherwise noted."

> We currently have types and pseudotypes. The latter does not appear to serve any meaningful role.
