Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2174) Sequence evaluationorder in arguments significant for CORREL, PEARSON and others
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2174?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17950#action_17950 ] Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-2174: ------------------------------------------ Suppose: A1: 1 B1: 1 A2: B2: 9 A3: 5 B3: A4: 2 B4: 2 A5: 3 B5: 3 then LINEST(.A1:.A5,.B1:.B5) results in an error in Excel 2007, OOo 3.1 and Gnumeric 1.10.0. The proposal seems not to reflect that! Note that the constraints are indeed satisfied. > Sequence evaluation order in arguments significant for CORREL, PEARSON and others > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-2174 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2174 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Components: OpenFormula > Reporter: Eike Rathke > Assignee: Eike Rathke > Fix For: ODF 1.2 > > > Broken out from bulk issue OFFICE-790 > For some functions the evaluation order of the elements of sequences passed as arguments is significant. > Affected functions are at least CORREL and PEARSON, check other functions as well. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
