Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-2477) 7.7.11<text:hidden-paragraph>, wording

Oliver-Rainer Wittmann updated OFFICE-2477:
-------------------------------------------

    Proposal:
Replace
"The <text:hidden-paragraph> element is a field that represents a condition, that satisfaction of which either displays or hides the paragraph where this element appears."
by
"The <text:hidden-paragraph> element is a field that represents a condition. If the condition evaluates to false, the paragraph where this element appears is displayed unless the paragraph is enclosed in any other hiding element. If the condition evaluates to true, the paragraph is hidden unless the paragraph contains another <text:hidden-paragraph> element whose condition evaluates to false."

  was:
Replace
"The <text:hidden-paragraph> element is a field that represents a condition, that satisfaction of which either displays or hides the paragraph where this element appears."
by
"The <text:hidden-paragraph> element is a field that represents a condition. If the condition evaluates to true, the paragraph where this element appears is hidden. Otherwise, this field has no influence on the paragraph."

A look into ODF 1.1 chapter 6.6.8 Hidden Paragraph Fields reveals that the content of the sentences "Multiple paragraph fields can be contained one paragraph. The paragraph is displayed if the condition associated with at least one hidden paragraph field is false." is lost on our rewrite of the ODF specification for version 1.2

Thus, I am adjusting the proposal for this issue in order to get the content of the above lost sentences back into the ODF specification.

> "...represents a condition, that satisfaction of which either displays or hides"
> (reminds me of the Rolling Stones ;-)
> In other parts of the spec, " evaluates to " is used instead of "satisfaction".
> And it is not clear what happens when the condition is true ("either displays or hides")
