Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2831) Page Variable Fields-7.7.1.1 - "The value of the page variable is increased on each page." -possibly, depends on use of <text:page-variable-set> Yes? - suggest delete

Dennis Hamilton commented on OFFICE-2831:
-----------------------------------------

Is the problem here about what happens automatically but that it can be over-ridden by a new set operation?

Sort of: once set and active, the page variable is increased on each page untill otherwise set? (Does activity have any effect on the incrementing?).

Is it the interaction of these various ways of influencing the value of the active page variable that need to be accounted for in some precise way?
