Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2226) ODDFYIELD: is yieldirrespective?

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2226?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=21305#action_21305 ]

Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-2226:
------------------------------------------

Moreover most places that write about ODDFPRICE distinguish between odd short first coupon periods and odd longfirst coupon periods although they don't seem to indicate how to determine which one applies. The formula in the attachment to http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-formula/201005/msg00013.html seems to be for the odd short first coupon only.

> - doesn't need to say "yield per 100 units" - yield is irrespective of this.
> [ed:] TODO: is it? what about the Redemption parameter then, that says "the redemption value per 100 currency units face value".
