Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (OFFICE-2768) 19:800 -text:display-outline-level - "...in a straight sequence of all sequenceelements for that sequence variable." ?
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2768?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ] Oliver-Rainer Wittmann updated OFFICE-2768: ------------------------------------------- Proposal: Replace sentence "Choosing an outline level of zero results in a straight sequence of all sequence elements for that sequence variable." by "Choosing an outline level of zero results in a continuous numbering of all sequence elements for that sequence variable. was:"Chapters that share an outline level of zero display a common outline level." (Does that capture it?) Assignee: Patrick Durusau Patrick' s interpretation does not fit. By attribute text:display-outline-level the following things are specified: - At which chapters/headings is the sequence variable automatically reset to zero. --> If text:display-outline-level="X", then at each chapter/heading whose outline level is equal or smaller X the sequence variable is reset to zero. - Which chapter/heading numbering is displayed in front of the sequence number. --> If text:display-outline-level="X", then the chapter/heading numbering of the last occurred chapter/heading whose outline level is equal or smaller X is display in front of the sequence number. Thus, the numbering of a sequence can be done by chapter. If text:display-outline-level="0", the numbering of a sequence is not done by chapter, because no chapter/heading on outline level 0 can exist. Thus, numbering of the sequence is continuous through out the document. See proposal for a improved wording of the mentioned sentence. > 19:800 - text:display-outline-level - "...in a straight sequence of all sequence elements for that sequence variable." ? > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: OFFICE-2768 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2768 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Text > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 05 > Reporter: Patrick Durusau > Assignee: Patrick Durusau > Priority: Minor > Fix For: ODF 1.2 CD 06 > > > The entire line reads: > "Choosing an outline level of zero results in a straight sequence of all sequence elements for that sequence variable." > I think what it means is that all chapters that share an outline level of zero have a common outline level. > But you would be hard pressed to understand that from the last sentence. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
