The clue that even for form:command-type="query" or "table" a SQL statement is executed. We may amend the descriptions of the two values as follows:
- query: the command contains the name of query. The form retrieves *the query* and executes *its SQL statement*.
- table: the command contains a table name. The form *executes an SQL statement that* retrieves all of the data in the table.
With that it becomes clear that there is always a SQL statement, and we may amend the form:filter description as follows:
The form:filter attribute specifies a filter for the SQL clause determined by the form:command-type and form:comand attributes. If that
SQL statement contains already a filter (WHERE clause), the filter specified by the attribute value is is conjunctively added to the existing filter.
