Michael Brauer commented on OFFICE-3422:
----------------------------------------

Patrick,

What we need is this:

19.318 <form:value>

19.318.1 General

The form:value attribute specifies the default value of an input control.

19.318.2 <form:button>

The value type of the form:value attribute is boolean.

attribute-form:value_element-form:button

19.318.3 <form:checkbox>, <form:combobox> [etc. - all elements for which the element may take a string value]

The value type of the form:value attribute is string.

attribute-form:value_element-form-checkbox_element-form:combobox-[etc.]

19.318.4 <form:date>

The value type of the form:value attribute is date.

attribute-form:value_element-form:date

19.318.5 <form:number> and <form: value-range>

> Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Forms
> Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 05
> Reporter: Andreas Guelzow
> Assignee: Michael Brauer
> Fix For: ODF 1.2 CD 06
>
>
> 19.318 form:value currently reads at the beginning:
> "The defined value types for form:value attribute values are:
> ● <form:radio> 13.5.18: boolean."
> and at the end:
> "The form:value attribute has the data type string 18.2."
> This appears to be a conflict. Moreover, OOo 3.2. happily saves arbitrary strings as values for the form:value attribute of <form:radio>. Gnumeric also permits arbitrary values in its radio buttons.
