Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (OFFICE-3538) ODF 1.2 Part 119.645.3 incomplete/contradictory table:function of<table:data-pilot-field>

ODF 1.2 Part 1 19.645.3 incomplete/contradictory table:function of <table:data-pilot-field>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: OFFICE-3538
                 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3538
Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC
          Issue Type: Sub-task
Environment: This issue applies to the text of OpenDocument-v1.2-cd05-part1-revision-07.odt
            Reporter: Dennis Hamilton

In Errata 02, the values for table:function of <table:data-pilot-field> are named but left implementation-defined.

In ODF 1.2 Part 1 19.645.1 the common values for the table:function attribute are defined, with provision for additional string values for implementation-dependent function names (and their functions).

This is all fine.

In 19.645.1 for table:function of <table:data-pilot-field>, the *additional* name "auto" is defined but the common ones are not identifies as applicable to this function.

In addition, it is stated in 19.645.3 that table:function is only evaluated if table:orientation="data". (not if it is "row", "column", "page", or "hidden").

These contradictory aspects are also present in ODF 1.0.
