Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (OFFICE-3555) Misleading/incorrectstatement regarding office:value-type="string"
Misleading/incorrect statement regarding office:value-type="string" ------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: OFFICE-3555 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3555 Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 05 Reporter: Andreas Guelzow In 19.385 office:value-type we say: If the value type is not string, the corresponding Value Attribute(s) (Table 14 - Value attributes) shall contain the value(s) of the element. While this is technically correct, it fails to specify where the value of the element shall be stored when the value type is string. Note that even in the case that the value-type is string, the apparent cell content given by the table-cell element content may differ from the value of the cell. This happens for example if the data-style for that cell is: <number:text-style style:name="ND.0"><number:text>pre </number:text><number:text-content/><number:text> post</number:text></number:text-style> -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
