Host-dependent properties (all HOST-* properties used in Part 2) are defined in Part 1 19.642 table:formula, which for HOST-NULL-DATE defines a default value of 1899-12-30.

The note in Part 1 9.4.2 <table:null-date> gives the commonly used values as US localized dates instead of ISO 8601 notation.
