The format choices are:

Microsoft Word
Open Office Writer
Please Specify

So they appear to be listing applications rather than formats.  That is 
confusing, since as we know, MS Word can write multiple formats, including 
ODF, and Open Office Writer can write multiple formats, including DOC, and 
other applications can understand multiple formats as well.
