Could be relevant, for example if we cite
the main standard from Errata, or from one part to another within a multi-part
standard.

[chairs] Citation
formats provided on all published OASIS work products
TC Chairs,
Do you know that every OASIS work product published by TC Administration
has a citation already defined for it? They do. You will find the Citation
descriptions on the second cover page of the document right after the Status
section. It is labelled "Citation format" and it provides the
abbreviation and full citation to use for that specific document.
For example, the citation for the AS4 Profile for ebMS 3.0, found in http://docs.oasis-open.org/ebxml-msg/ebms/v3.0/profiles/AS4-profile/v1.0/cos01/AS4-profile-v1.0-cos01.html,
is:
---
[AS4-Profile]
AS4 Profile of ebMS 3.0 Version 1.0. 17 August 2012. OASIS Candidate OASIS
Standard. http://docs.oasis-open.org/ebxml-msg/ebms/v3.0/profiles/AS4-profile/v1.0/cos01/AS4-profile-v1.0-cos01.html.
---
Citation formats are defined for both standards track and non-standards
track work products and for committee drafts as well as approved specifications
and notes.
You can point these out to others who want to know how to cite one of your
TC documents and you can use them for the normative and non-normative OASIS
references in your own documents.
Pre-2011 publications won't have the citation sections but we will be happy
to supply you with the citation format to use on request.
Please share with your TC if this is helpful.
Best regards,
/chet
