Subject: RE: [oic] possible interop event (March, NL)

Title: RE: [oic] possible interop event (March, NL)

Another possibility would be to organize a 24h virtual plugfest (chat, webinar),
with separate, sliding sessions. Eco-friendly and much cheaper.

For example (local time), roughly speaking:

- 1st session: East-Asia (morning till noon) + West-America (afternoon-evening)
- 2nd session: Europe (morning till noon) + East-Asia (afternoon-evening)
- 3rd session: East-America (morning till noon) + Europe (afternoon-evening)
- 4th session: West-America (morning till noon) + East-Amercia (afternoon-evening)

(+ maybe another session if there are enough participants from Middle-East ?)

Of course, in order to do this, we should have enough test documents :-)

Just my 2 cents,

Bart

I am interested, of course.  But the hard part, in this economy, is to get
financial approval for international travel.  It was very hard to get
approval to go to Beijing, for example, even though I was leading an
interop workshop and panel discussion.

A full-day or even multi-day program would make the trip more valuable,
compared to a short session.  Of course, having designed exercises for
such events before, I know how difficult that is.  This will be easier
once our TC has created some real test cases to run.
