Subject: RE: [oic] Review: test suite creation and maintenance process

Great work Mingfei,

One thing that's great about a wiki is that one can use it as an outline tool.

I think this could be very well part of the "conformity assessment methodology specification" deliverable.

So once we've discussed the remaining issues on the mailing list and/or added enough comments on the wiki, some volunteer could use it to start writing a working draft on the C.A.M.S, using the OASIS document template to make it a committee deliverable.

Best regards,

Bart

Subject: [oic] Review: test suite creation and maintenance process

Dear TC members,

According to last 2 TC meetings discussion, I draft the process about how TC create and maitain test suites on the wiki:
http://wiki.oasis-open.org/oic/TestSuiteCMProcess

For your review. It is still in very draft status, you will be very appreciated if any remarks, comments or suggetions.

Also I know the process still depends on several items to be done in parallel:
(1) Define the granularity of each test document
(2) Define TC subversion repository structure
(3) Discuss/Approve test metadata proposal submitted by Bart(http://wiki.oasis-open.org/oic/TestScenario/Metadata)
(4) Deploy some utility to submit test cases, e.g. web form to fill test meta data, attach test document.
(5) Any others I ignored

I think each item of the above need to be discussed and get agreement among TC members. So still we have some gap toward the point that we can actually start to contribute the test suites. I maybe send other mails to discuss the above items separately if necessary.

Hope everyone having a great day!
