I notice that sub-tasks can't have further sub-tasks.  

As an official of the OIC TC I can perform a variety of actions in creating and handling issues that are not visible to all members.  I will provide what capabilties I have so that others can compare with what they see.

The available workflow actions on this issue are to Open Issue and Close Issue..

The available Operations are Assign the issue, Clone the Issue, Edit the issue, and Convert the issue.

I might want to explore those individually, perhaps with separate sub-tasks.
