Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (OIC-41) Provide location (folder)of files as well as links directly to the files used in test instructions

Provide location (folder) of files as well as links directly to the files used in test instructions
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: OIC-41
                 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OIC-41
Project: OASIS Open Document Format Interoperability and Conformance (OIC) TC
          Issue Type: Improvement
Environment: This applies to all use of web pages (and text pages) in the OIC SVN repository where there are references to documents elsewhere in the material.
            Reporter: Dennis Hamilton

Examine page <http://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/svn/oic/TestSuite/branches/barth/odf12/scenarios/part3/3_manifest-file/3-4_manifest-encryption-data/001.html> for an illustration of this issue.

In the Files list of a TestSuite description page, there are relative links to binary files located elsewhere in the oic SVN repository.

These links are difficult to use because

1. Following the link causes an attempt to open the binary file, and the user might not have the means to do that (because of browser, absence of special software that is needed, etc.)

2. Attempting to save the target may be undesirable because the user does not want to make a copy but to find the file.
